ok, I can kinda understand the diet part of it; but if you're gonna have brews, hell just take 1 minute at the top of the show to show us the bottles, the labels, what beer it is.. i dunno.
im a fan of the exotic things you can find out there ... if theyre havin corona I dont mind if they skip it, but if its some odd bottle i've never seen before, i'm curious as to what it is and what kinda beer it is.
if theyd just provide us with the name of the brews, even in the show notes, then someone else could take on the task of runnin a site/blog or whatever that goes more into the details for the more beer-appreciative fans out there.
If they wanna go to more tea i don't mind either, if they go into the details there too. I'm just a fan of that kinda shit. Seemed to me like Kevin Rose also was, but lately the beer seems to have just been a 'stand-in' in the show.
Diggnation needs these things not just to be 'two random dudes talkin random shit about random stories in random places'. That show is fun to watch when you feel like you're "a part of it", otherwise its just kinda pointless. I dunno about you all, but the 1st time I downloaded that podcast was off miro, and i just didnt get it. I had no idea who kevin & alex were, as I had not been a witness to the whole screensaver's era. Anybody else who's in the same situation won't really find a reason to really give a crap about what these guys have to say, until they get hooked by little things like that.
"Great episode, but I am soooo pissed!!!! They didn't talk about their beers!
I am a huge beer lover and think that beer is a very important part of the show.
What also makes me irritated enough to notice it and post about it is that alex was drinking Sierra Nevada Pale Ale!!!!! Which is in my opinion the greatest beer ever. Just check out the website.

Would have loved to hear what alex thought about my favorite beer :(.
Don't know what kevin was drinking, but would have like to hear about it too!
Anyways, great episode packed with great stories that they were dying to talk about which was probably why they forgot =/"
wow yea i didnt even notice myself. I also am quite the beer fanatic, and one of the things that *initially* got me interested in diggnation enough to watch two unknown dudes talk shit on a couch was that they 'reviewed' beers.
Now, maybe those are beers they've had a bazzilion times, but at least just make a mention.
What the hell ever happened to that beer club anyway ??
GOod ep though, made me forget about brews so I guess it worked out anyhow ;p
(PS; sponsorship needs to be made AFTER THE STORIES .. i dont mind you guys skippin the beers, addiing a ton of post production sfx or even having an off week every now and then, THIS DISRUPTS THE FLOW OF THE SHOW!)
