My wife saw it and liked it. I personally haven't liked a Woody Allen movie since Star Dust Memories, and really it's mostly the movies before that, the only good thing in Star Dust Memories was the line someone says to him "I like your earlier funnier movies". I realize that this was supposed to be ironic, but I honestly don't find any joy in watching his more recent stuff. Sleeper, or Annie Hall, now there are a brilliant movies.

Yeah, it can't go much worse than that League of Extraordinary Gentlemen film. I've seen some bad adaptations, but that one takes the cake.

I have read both the infinity gauntlet and infinity war and that was about as far as I got. I have known about thanos quest but never got around to reading it. I fell out of the comics soon after infinity war and never knew they continued it.

I would think you have to read the series in between to follow the the continuity of the main story line.

ex - between infinity gauntlet and infinity war there was warlock and the infinity watch.

i have a small collection of troma dvds in my collection, the first and last toxic avenger, tromeo and juliet, and a few others i picked up used for a really good price. yes they are campy and stuff, but they are usually very entertaining

"Yeah I wasn't talking about expensive or difficult for hobbyists, I was talking about for studios. You can take a webcam and shoot a ball of clay on your desk, sure. But the kind of refined character animation we see from studios like Laika takes an insane amount of talent and experience and those rigs are EXTREMELY expensive and take a lot of skill to create.

This expense and time and talent is the reason I think there aren't more stop motion studios.

well aren't you the little primadonna. This was made in 1977 with next to no money and an extremely low end camera. It is considered one of the greats and is still studied in most animation classes.

"Well, thats a cultural reference I had to look up.

My final year of high school I had a 3inch 3 arch lever folder, stuffed with PVC dividers, and PVC pockets that stuff would get cycled in and out of depending on the subject into 3 ring binders for each of my subjects.

Had a similar setup for notes pretty much all the way through highschool (grades 7-12) and even when I went to Uni.

I hated high school though - I was bored brainless - and was so happy to graduate, get a full time job (and study at college part time).
